(no subject)
So the date function idea was nixed because the girly ass boys were being bitches about some of them being left out for the "date function" part of the night - which was just gonna be sushi and sake bombing and wearing sweet outfits. We decided to have a party instead, however so everyone would be a winner! And by winner I mean drunk.
Hosting our first house party of the semester was a whole lotta fun. We bought a bunch of cases of Natty Ice and made some gin buckets and soon enough all our friends filled up our porch, then living room, then kitchen and driveway and a fair amount of friends of friends as well. Our house has a sweet set up for parties cause the door from the kitchen opens out to this shared driveway parking lot thing between us and our neighbors which you can't see from the front of house and we have a rickety porch that's just big enough.
And as at all good/sketchyawesome parties there were a few fights. hahah. Two actually, and I got to see one- Adrian fighting Drew Reed over god knows what. But luckly it got broken up before Drew got totally beat. On minor note, Drew K was totally smashed when he came and was basically just being and making an ass out of himself for much of night. Needless to say I didn't really feel like talking to him or putting up with his drunk behavior. It annoys me when people can't drink without turning into a different person and not being able to hang out, let alone carry on normal conversation with others. Terribly unattractive. And then act pissed off when I don't realy want to talk to you. Riiight.
So around 1:30something Ian showed up, my MF Doom show buddy fellow dec staff atari playing dude, and had the brilliant idea to go night swimming. Melissa drove Alex, Lauren, Ian, Michael, Alli, and I to U Place where th e pool was hoppin and we jumped in with our clothes on. We played there for a good 45 mins and then passed out extremely exhausted. All in all a super successful night.
