First off, for the first time in 2 years, I HAD THE WHOLE WEEKEND OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy because I got to spend it with all my friends and the people that mean a lot to me.
Friday: After my morning class, I went home and did nothing. It’s nice doing nothing… a welcome change from school and work. Then Friday night Jake and I went to a party at Sylvia’s house. First time in a long time I’ve been able to hang out with Jon, Anji, and Sylvia. And the first time Tiffany has been around them in years. Jon made a drunken fool of himself which is always entertaining. He licked deodorant. Need I say more? And as always, he removed articles of clothing until Angela was able to get them back on. Note to Jon: really, we don’t want to see you naked.
Saturday: I SLEPT IN!!!!!!!!!!! Then, I hung out with Trish, Ender, and Colt for a little while, met Jake at his work for lunch, and then got ready to go to St. Leo. It was Jason’s birthday so his girlfriend threw a “roast the redhead celebration.” So my big brother has been there for 3 years and this was the first time I had ever seen his school. I finally got to see where he lived too. Jake went with me and we had a lot of fun. I even (gulp) drove on the interstate at night. When Jake drove we got there in 2 hours… with me driving, it took us close to 3 hours to get home. That tells you about my speed on the interstate. (Note: the average time to get between Cape Coral and St. Leo is 2 and a half hour)
Sunday: Again, slept in. Then we met Trish, Jerry, Ender, Colt, and Ender’s grandparents for breakfast. It’s nice going places with Ender when there are four other sets of eyes and hands to chase after him. I only had to pull pieces of crayon out of his mouth when I caught him eating instead of coloring. Afterwards Jake and I went to Petco and bought a hamster. She is the cutest ball of fur ever! Her name is Tinkerbell Katamari. Katamari is a video game in which you roll a ball around collecting things around the world which gets put up into space and becomes a star. When we put Tinkerbell in her ball, she runs around like the Katamari does, hence the middle name. She lives in the Disney World of al Hamster cages but spends 99% of her life, mostly at night, running in her wheel. I swear hamsters never can get fat with those things around. She keeps hiding her food in weird places in her cage though. I want to figure out why. I went over to Stephen’s house for a while and got to play with Sandy and Sammy which was fun. Then Fred came over and we all hung out, Jake made dinner, and Tinkerbell rolled around the house in her ball.
Monday was anniversary day (YAY!!!!!!) and Jake and I went up to St. Armands to walk around and go the beach. I refused to sleep in that morning, which made me tired and cranky by the end of the night.
Ack… I wanted to write more but I have ten minutes to get to class. Crap. Oh well, if you have FACEBOOK add me! (Brittany Prall-Florida Gulf Coast University/FGCU) I’m going to be putting up tons of pictures of Tinkerbell and the beach and the parties but Myspace doesn’t give me as much room as facebook and its photoalbums.
