Well, in order to graduate with my degree in social work I have to complete a year long internship. Since FGCU is really stupid they haven't been offering the classes I need to take before my internship so I've been delayed. Had these classes been offered this year, I'd be starting my internship this summer. So now I can't start my internship until summer 2007 and I only have 4 more psychology classes to take. This leaves me in a shithole of either a) taking two psychology classes and one social work each semester next year, which would make me lose full time status and scholarships. Or b) having to get a 3rd major or a minor to stay at full time status. (There is an option c) switching schools- which a lot of people are doing but my drive is long enough already.)
So now I'm a political science minor, possibly major. I know it has nothing to do with psychology and social work but it's close to Model UN and I'm the only person in Model UN that isn't at least a political science minor so I may as well go for it. So in short, more work for me. Yippee. I figure it can't be that bad since a minor is only 7 more classes that I haven't taken and I can fit those in next year and during my internship and it is something I'm interested in. I'm just tired of school and work and all that shit. It's like no matter what I do I wind up with more shit being piled up for me.
I need a nap.
