(no subject)
This morning my mom and I went to Ikea to get some things for my apartment this summer, including a futon. She even insisted that I get wine glasses, which I thought was funny but I think will make me feel really classy when I turn 21 and can drink wine from real wine glasses. I'm really looking forward to living on my own for the summer because I think it'll give me a taste of what living on my own will be like once I graduate.
My mom thinks I ought to go to Columbia for journalism, since it might cost less because she works there. I don't know how hard it would be to get into a school of journalism when I don't know anything about the subject, but. I guess we'll see. Because as much as I'd like to just travel once I graduate, I can only do that for so long before I run out of money.
So anyway. That might be cool. Either way I'm going to take the GRE this coming year so I can be all prepared if I do decide to go to graduate school the year after I graduate. Or I guess I could just take a year off and work. I could do Teach for America, too.
There are too many possibilities. I guess that's a good thing.
