Hello, friends

Hello, friends. Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Another thing I've been putting off doing is writing a letter to my grandfather. Sometimes I don't know why I put off things that would only take five minutes of my time, but might mean more to other people. I hope that tomorrow I will write him the letter.

Right now I'm working on a Spanish paper on Chicano art. I spent a large part of my day today doing homework and eating stuff with my former roommate from freshman year Danielle. She's from Perú and was willing to proofread part of my Spanish paper for me. Needless to say, Danielle is quite cool and I think you guys would like her. Maybe she will come to visit someday.

I've had kind of a rough quarter in terms of keeping up with classes. I'm not exactly sure what kind of grades I'll be getting. One class I'm taking is called ME101 Visual Thinking and it has been very time consuming...but fun. We got to work in teams to make these machines that would throw a ball back and forth to oneanother. You should be able to see a video clip of it if you click on this link: http://www.stanford.edu/~artitw/ME101_DP2/DP2%20X%20041.mov

I think you can briefly see me standing there as the camera whizzes past.

Hmmm....what else? My spring break starts March 24. I'm going to College Station to visit my sister that weekend and then we're going to a Lucinda Williams concert in Austin. I'll be in Harlingen from March 20th till the 25th or 26th, I think, if anyone wants to hang out. :)

I guess I'd better get back to my Spanish essay. joy of joys.
