I have a car.
And her name is Grandpa.
Pictures will be coming soon.
:D !
ETA:
:D!
Meet Grandpa. She's very old and her last owner, Kaitlynn's grandpa, fell asleep while driving, thus shattering the front right fender, hubcap and door. Kaitlynn's dad, after having fixed it up, decided that Kaitlynn's grandpa prooobably shouldn't be driving anymore. So they gave it to me. :D For $250 and a batch of cookies that I will somehow manage to bake without an oven or any sort of culinary knowledge.
The only places I'll actually be driving this to and from are my New Visions rotations (wherever those may be) and errands my parents want me to run for them. Anywhere else I'll be carpooling or walking or something. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on this thing (I'm paying for my own gas too) because this is the only year I'll use it. I probably won't drive it in the first few years of college--NEU, where I'm hopefully going, doesn't allow freshmen to have a car in the middle of Boston--and by the time I'll want to, I will probably want a newer one. Thus, this will be shipped down to Kevin next year (along with my room, so he's getting luckier every minute, the bastard).
Notice the out-of-place hubcap and off-colored fender. :D
Kaitlynn and I (and Evan at some point, when he's not working) will be pimping this out sooner or later. >:D Devoting probably an entire day to it, yay.
I thought that was funny. :D
Look at my dirty trunk. :D It's bigger than my mom's.
Alas, my only issue. The hideous, obtrusive indication that it is, indeed, an automatic car. D: I wanted so bad for it to be a standard (since that's what I learned on and what I've grown to love), but hey--I think I can manage. :D I'll get used to it eventually.
My pop-up, lock-up glove compartment. xD
:D
The windows are electronic... which is odd, because my mom's car is still roller-rolley-etc. Yay!
Hello, baby. :D
Heeee!
