Champagne for My Real Friends, Real Pain for My Sham Friends
I have been wanting to write up a survey for a while but rather than do one that is trying to be funny or cute I decided to write one about what everybody loves- the music. So this survey is asking all about good songs and bad songs and okay songs and whatever the fuck else you can think of songs. Blah blah blah. So the first part will be about music you like or used to like. Music that really grabs ya, wraps you up in a warm blanket, and coos you to sleep on frosty afternoon. Okay.
1. What is your favorite song? Narrow it down to just one. If the world was exploding and you could only listen to this one song what would it be?
2. What’s the saddest song you’ve ever heard? Like a song that can make you cry if you listen to it in a bad mood.
3. Song that you turn all the way up and sing to yourself as you’re driving all alone on some barren street at 1 AM.
4. A song that stopped you in your tracks the first time you heard it. Like a song you loved immediately. Basically the first time you heard it you were like, “Yo, turn dat shit up!”
5. Song that when it comes on it suddenly reminds you of some terrible memory or happier time and it leaves you feeling like you’ve been punched in the stomach.
6. Your car chase song or: the song that makes you want to drive at 98 miles per hour.
7. What’s the most beautiful song you know?
8. What’s the most embarrassing song you like, and everybody has at least one.

The next bit is made up of stuff I have coined as- “Shit that annoys you” Because there’s no such thing as bad music because if even only a few people like it, its good to them. So I have just divided music tastes into- “Stuff you like” and “Shit that annoys you.” Lets continue.
13. What genre of music annoys you most of all? Nobody likes everything so I’m hoping no one plays that bullshit card.

15. What band is so fucking annoying that it makes you hate music itself for being a medium where people like this could become rich and famous. Basically what’s your most hated band.
