(no subject)
Been a little while since I have been on here, hello to you if you are still reading, (why not give me a comment so i know)
So have started back at Currys, done a complete 360 after leaving to go to Comet 2 years ago, at the time it was the right thing to do because the manager was making my life very difficult. I gained a lot of experience and improved as a sales person at Comet as I had a lot more time to develop myself as the management left you alone.
My decision to go back to Currys came when they started to build the brand new megastore in the new ILVA building, it is the biggest UK electrical store in the UK and the 3rd biggest in Europe, seriously if you havn't been in there you have to check it out, it's quite amazing. Anyways another factor for my move was that they are now working as 4 seperate stores as it is so big meaning that I am now department based, and my department is Cameras, I am doing really well and made myself a nice £160 bonus in the first 2 weeks for just doing my job! (it's kinda commission based again) so whooooop! Plus is quite interesting talking to reps and customers about photography.
I have also got my first photography "gig" on saturday, will see how I get on with my Canon 350d, my 18-55mm kit lens and my 90-200mm lens, if it just isn't working I may have to borrow some lenses from work for "training" purposes.
