It appears as if Ralph Ellison's 'The Invisible Man' is, in fact, invisible, for it doesn't exist ANYWHERE. Every copy was checked out at the Pratt library. It was sold out in the bookstore. Matt even drove me to the nearby Brooklyn Public Library, and it wasn't there (which isn't too surprising considering I own more books than that horribly lame library).
As I was flipping out in Matt's car, 'American Pie' came on the radio. Matt and I sat in his car in the parking lot and waited until the song ended, singing as awesomely and as loudly as we could.
I love when songs are so good that I have to sit in the car and wait for them to finish.
