A very sad letter...
Dearest Shae,
In the way-too-short year that we've known each other, you've become one of my absolute dearest friends.
I believe that there's a reason that we were roommates during our freshman year. It was no accident, and it was not random. This past year was the best year of my life, no joke. Thank you for all of the incredible times and genuine laughs. I'm not just losing my roommate, I'm losing THE BEST ROOMMATE IN ALL OF SPACE AND TIME!
Several people asked me last year, "How did you know Shae before you came to Pratt?" We just clicked as friends and laughed so much that people thought we'd known each other for years. As Janay said, "You guys were perfect for each other!" Tis true, tis so very very true.
You are one of the most awesome, talented, funny, fun, unique, creative, hardworking (add a scrillion of awesome adjectives right here) people/writers I know. I'm going to miss you so much! Best of luck at Hollins. We must keep in touch!
