WHO SAYS I CANT ROCK OUT?!
Holy fuck. Last night was a BLAST! I dunno if many people in my journal know about a band called Kritickill, but they are a local band from around here. Well, last night, "Hero's" had a re-grandopening and Kritickill was headlining, and I wanted to go to a concert with Mel, so we went. First band up was "Preminshun" (i think that's how they are spelled) Well, the lead guitatist and the bassist were two HOT sisters.. aw, it made the show all worth while and they're music was fucking kick ass. Well, I wanted a shirt, cuz the symbol they have is awesome. I got a white shirt and had it signed by the whole band! ROCK! :) Second band up was Powderburn. I happen to be up front for this one and the lead signer after one of the songs goes "HEY! I'm thirsty!" I held up my beer and tried to give it to him.. which he accepted and I got a free t-shirt out of it! Kick ass! and they're music was awesome too!
Ok, Then Kritickill gets up there and start jamming. Of course, I'm drunk by now and going crazy. Well, a mosh pit started behind us and they were pushing us and stuff and I got bumped here and there.. but SOMEONE threw an elbow and hit me behind my ear in the back of my head.. it was a HARD elbow too.. still hurts now, I have a bump! :( And then I got headbutt in the face too... have a bump for that too... I didnt see who did it so I couldny retaliate but I wouldnt have anyway.. But the AWESOMEST part is after one of the songs, the drummer threw 1 of his sticks into the crowd, and I GOT IT!!!! After the show, one of my other friends who was there is like really close to the band, so I got to meet all of them and they all signed my drumstick!!! Omg, it was so much fun. they played a cover of my new favorite song "The End of Heartache" by Killswitch Engage (which ALL of you should DEFINATELY check out). My friend also got some pix for me, and when they get edited and shit from her digi cam, I'll post em on here.
So here I am today, working (yeah, I'm on a detail to get ready for President Bush's visit to Fort Hood, so we have to make this gym all pretty and shit and they brought me in on the weekend.. stupid army) hungover like HELL and sore from headbanging and banging heads... and elbows... lol, but YEAH, ALL YOU MOTHER FUCKERS WHO THINK I CANT ROCK OUT NEED TO THINK AGAIN!!! hahaahha! :)
