A good day...
Yeah, so today was my first good day in a while. I guess my NCO doesnt care if I have my laptop in the office and I have been getting knee-deep in watching the Sopranos. It's fucking awesome.. and also, from what my mom tells me, my family used to act like the typical italian american family when I was a kid... you know.. taking over a whole street.. it was like D-Block.. but.. like I-Block lol in the 80's... Annnyway..
Yeah, I feel good today.. let's hope the feeling lasts.. I kinda feel like I'm coming down, but I was in a good mood today.. so that shows me that progress is being made... still in the healing process tho..
OH! Get this. On the way back from leave, I spoke to this really nice woman who lives in GA. Turns out... after all was said and done.. she has a daughter that is going to Colby, and has my uncle for an english professor.. AND she's the wife of a CEO of a major power corporation in GA who's going to send out a care package full of shit EVERY WEEK!!!! i'll be up to my eyes in food and stuff! I mean, I told them they dont have to.. but if they do, that would definately rock. I was happy to hear from her, because I think she was just saying she would email me as a nicety since I was wearing my uniform and all, but she actually did..
So yeah, a good day.. 1 of many? Let's hope so.. Only 11 more months IN the army.. YAH!!! It's coming people.. It's coming.. I'll be transformed into regular Dave sooner then you realize..
oh yeah and dont fuck with me or Tony Soprano is coming for yo ass. ;)
