It felt strange dialing a number for someone he was supposed to know, but couldn't remember. When Tifa had mentioned that he was probably a member of "the Turks" and gave him the number for "Reno," Rod had felt that her conclusion about his occupation was correct. For some reason though, as he hit the numbers on the phone, he felt a wave of apprehension wash over him, as if calling these "Turks" wasn't at all what he wanted or should be doing. He desperately wanted to remember just who he was and what had happened to him, but at the same time...
There was a click on the other end of the line and then it was too late to do anything but speak.
Um. Hi. Is this uh...Reno? Hi. I uh...Well this chick Tifa gave me your number. Said maybe I work for you?
