[A few minutes later, she's standing outside Ganta's door, knocking. She's excited for lunch, but she's also looking forward to seeing what his room looks like now.]

[He gets the door and smiles at her. His room looks a lot like it did when he was last here, though maybe a bit more spartan. He DOES seem to have acquired a handheld video game console of some sort, and several games for it though.]

Hello! [She glances at his console, then at his room, giving it a once over.] None too shabby. Kind of the way it looked last time you were here.

[She grins and holds up a small paper bag.] Never show up empty handed, is what they say. [She hands it to him, and inside he'll find a bundle of colored papers specifically designed for origami.]

[He blinks at the bag and takes it, peering inside. He's never actually done origami in his own world, but apparently he was into that when he was last here. Well, he'll give it a try the next time he's bored...which might be soon since there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to do here a lot of the time.]

Thanks. [He smiles and sets the bag down on his bed.] I'll have to relearn how to do it, I guess.

[Usually she'd say no. Not because it wasn't dangerous, but because locking it won't actually stop most of the dangers in the Mansion from killing you.]

I doubt the Queen would stop for a locked door, but... It's probably a habit you'd want to develop. You have a key?

[He shakes his head.] I'm not really scared of my stuff getting stolen. And I can defend myself well enough if I have to. We just have weird people at home who like to come in if the door's not locked.
