[The feed shows Ganta sitting on his bed, hugging his knees to his chest. For the first time, he's out of his prison uniform, wearing pants and a sweater that's too big for him, so that his hands are hidden in the sleeves. He's looking out the window, though all that can be seen is the gray-white of way too much snow. The light in the room flickers, making it obvious that the only light is coming from the fireplace.]
This weather kind of reminds me of home. It's like living in G sector again. [He glances at the camera, and laughs a little, although he doesn't seem very amused.] I guess I should say, G sector was underground.
I keep dreaming...
[Whatever else he said or was going to say is swallowed up by a gust of wind rattling the window. He's quiet for several moments, looking out the window again. The only sounds are the fire crackling and the wind outside. He smiles suddenly after awhile.]
It's not so bad, though. The fire's nice, and playing in the snow was fun. Oh! And thanks to Kite-san, I got my collar off, so I don't have to eat that disgusting candy anymore.
Besides, it's not like the snow will last forever, right?
[His cheerfulness seems short-lived, and he lapses into silence again. The feed times out on him still looking quietly out the window.]
