You can't fault an entire population (especially athletes) because of the actions of a few. Wonder why everyone hats Americans?

I don't fault the population, but I'm sorry, they have no business hosting the Olympics, or being favored trade partners in my opinion.

COMPLETELY AGREE. Especially on the favored trade partners part.
Fuck China.

Why can't we just hate on an entire country like in the olden days? Fuck the krauts, fuck the japs, now fuck the chinks. Is that so wrong?

It's amazing how easily slavery, environmental destruction, etc. etc. is overlooked when you are many countries biggest trade partner.

Doesn't China get preferential, or "favored" trade partner status primarily because they own, and continue to buy, our weak dollar. Wouldn't the American economy be totally fucked (undeniable recession and increased inflation) if we took too strong a position against them and they started to sell/flood the international monetary market with all the billions of US dollars they own?

as for their other flaws (human rights and environment), the US would be a bit hypocritical to complain or take too high a position against China, or almost every other country in the world until we clean up our own act.

It will be interesting to see how the US/Americans adapt and accept not being the most powerful, influential, and most polluting country in the world in the future, and having our requests to the new title holders ignored...like we have ignored the rest of the world for so long.
