as for the whole lawyer thing..it works sometimes if ICBC is screwing you over. My friend was t-boned by someone who went into a diabetic coma while driving. The person had no idea they were diabetic so they were not deemed to be at fault so ICBC said, too bad, we're not giving you any money for your injuries or your car. So she got a lawyer and she did get money from ICBC in the end.
But in your situation, although it's proposterous that the person is claiming injuries, alls the dude has to due to go to the dr and say, hey write me a note. Doctors are so fucking corrupt they'll do it to get money out of the claim too. So proving he either has no injuries or it was a pre existing condition could be very difficult.
that's fucked up man. i hope it works out. how can he possibly be injured. that's ridiculous. i'm not sure you need a lawyer.. i think (although i don't know much about it) that that's what ICBC does. cause ICBC is always trying to prove ppl aren't injured. so i think that they take care of that. meh.. i dunno.. that fucking blows man. you need some booze.
