pitcherthis has found out that there is to karaoke at a leaving doo Wednesday, new equipment too, will she let anyone leave? She is already planning the outfit even though today's fine conceptual artist outfit is not prepared/considered.
Today I'm going spend time on the form filling - yuk. My stunning plan was to create a mobile 3D animation studio. This was going to be a cycle with trailer, there's enough room for the guff in the trailer. Catch is the initial investment in hardware to make it happen is not going to happen. My re-think is to get aptops to run Linux and a rack mount server and wireless router, it will fit in a band's road box. Laptop hard-drives are reasonably priced and easy to swap one for another so I can teach Linux, each person has a hard-drive and can mess it up to there hearts content. The server is for teaching C(ontent) M(anagement) S(ystems) - dynamic web sites. It is becoming obvious that there are many different areas of this to teach, administration, content addition, user management, design (people are beging to be more CSS aware but not who it works with dynamic sites).
As the main group I'm hoping to work with will be fellow mental health sufferers altering the groups after a time from a single discipline to mixed web maintainance groups will, hopefully, mean people will gain confidence in meeting new people. It will also allow local charities to have dynamic sites managed and created by their own people - in time of course.
The biggest hurdle left is me :-( I've to fill in forms and that is part of why I go to therapy, sheer terror of empty little boxes for me to fill in with words.
