i've been trying to stuff myself full of derricious goodness i can't get (or find) in the nippon.
so far:
el indio mexicano: al pastor burrito w/ beans, cheese n guacamole
el indio mexicano: nachos with carne asada n guacamole mmmmm heart attack
chi chi's: pepperoni and onion spicy pizza
sanamluang cafe: general's noodle soup
sanamluang cafe: spicy steamed mussels
mandarin deli: beef noodle soup
sin ba la: taiwanese sausage rice
galleria market food court: ddukbokki
uppercrust thai: papaya salad
uppercrust thai: tom kai goong
pho 999: pho
pho 999: derricious spring rolls omg they're the best!
zankou chicken: derricious chicken with garlic sauce and turnip pickles mmmm
little saigon: nem nuong
apparently now boba express (formerly known as the northridge tapioca express): pudding milk tea
boba express: pork chop rice (the best ever)
from whole foods:
pesto ravioli
derricious sandwiches
odwalla limeade and lemonade
from farmers markets:
CHEAP, DELICIOUS FRUIT!!!!!
tamales
fudge
hot spicy sausage
from korean markets:
cucumber kimchee
radish kimchee
kimchee
japan has the kimchee but its not nearly as fermented or spicy as made by koreans, for koreans.
i've gone to a few fast food places too, but... i dunno, everything's real big. <--that should be said in a tooly voice that prolly only nishipoot and leahtron would get... ToT
anyway, i still need to hit trader joes and h&m. because, you know, h&m fits in with everything else i've mentioned here. but for now, i need a nap bc i just ate some pork chop rice!! :D but couldn't finish everything. D: i think the lady gives me extra pork chops or something bc there's always 2 super large pieces, but when i've seen other people order it, they only get one. maybe bc im a pork chop?? :D
here's something: chinese ppl call ugly girls "pork chop" (only, you know, in chinese).
