Getting Old
Well my oldest had his first day of school today for kindergarten orientation. I did good I didn't cry, however my youngest did. Once he realized that when Avery and I were fixing to leave without him, he started balling. I felt bad because I coundn't take him with us, but there wasn't much I could do. Chad said when he walked in their room to put him down for a nap, he had the TV on but was just standing by his bed staring at the door, as if waiting for brother to walk in. I think the shock of it not being Avery and Adam like it always is was too much for him.
However, Avery is looking forward to his first full day of school on Wednesday. We got to meet his teacher today, she seems nice to me, but says that she's strict. So in a week Avery will be coming home complaining that she's mean, which in turn means he's not behaving.
I can't wait, some peace and quite around the house. I don't think Adam will be as rambunctious without big brother here...
