Grohl at the Bowl!
Dave Grohl and Co. at the Santa Barbara Bowl, that is.
The Foo Fighters put on an amazing, 8-piece, acoustic set last night which pretty much was one of the coolest concerts I've seen in a long time. Although it only lasted two hours (because of noise ordinances), listening to the Foo play songs with a pianist, violinist, and percussionist was simply amazing.
Oh yeah, and the Santa Barbara Bowl, although a little bit of a drive, is one of the best outdoor venues I have been to. Besides being small, and not too crowded, the parking is fairly cheap and leaving the venue is as easy as leaving your front door.
My only gripe, however, is that unlike the Hollywood Bowl, they don't let you bring your own food or alcohol. :P Boo to that. Rockin' show otherwise.
