April- bookswap with Children's school in Newker- my theme was rock climbing and her favourite colour was green. I used Super Sculpey -for the first time- on the covers for the rock climbing wall effect.
July- Architecture-"Seeing to Infinity" was inspired by a workshop I did last year with Paul Johnson who does a lot of pop-up, folds and cut books. The paper for the cover and inner pages was hand coloured by me using various FW acrylic inks.
September- Pockets, pleats and patches swap with Calderdale group. I wasn't very inspired and used up yet more coloured paper made at a workshop several years ago. I had to make 3 versions- one to swap with my group, one for Calderdale and one for my own archive. The little folded book is held shut using velcro tabs.
