Hey, look, a decent update!
So, I got my Grado SR 60's today, yeah, amazing.... And they look cool too =p
I also finally finished the damn Seinor lit mid-term, that was a load of bullshit wrapped in tin foil.... But thank god that's over.
Oh yeah, why I really wanted to post, I e-mailed Leo Laporte on a whim last night, and totally didn't expect him to write back, here's what I wrote:
"Leo,
I know there's almost no chance you'll see this e-mail, I wanted to send it to you anyway. My name is Ron, I'm 17, and I grew up watching you and Pat on TSS almost every night. I live in St. Louis, and remember getting my laptop (new at the time, now almost 6 years old) autographed by both you guys. I now work as a computer tech at a local shop, am the president of a district wide FIRST robotics team, and run/host my own podcast and website (Apt Get, I owe most all my listeners to my posts in the TWiT forums).
I'll try and make this short, I basically just wanted to say Thank You for all that you've taught me over the years, you didn't know it, but you got me started off in the right direction. I don't know what else to say, other then keep up the awesome work with the podcast. It would be awesome if you replied to let me know you got this, but I know you're a busy guy, I wish you the best!

To my suprise, he e-mailed me back this morning with the following:
"I saw that you started Apt Get - great name - I haven't had time to listen
to it but I will. Thanks for your great email - it sounds like you're
unstoppable indeed!!! Keep up the good work!

How awesome is that? I mean the fact that he even replied was cool. I wonder if he will actually listen to Apt Get.....we shall see. Mabye he can skype in as a guest =p Well, enjoy all, I'm hitting the hay...
