More Thank Yous
Thank you for the fantastic v-gift, stuckinsea! It's awesome and I love it :D Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes; they certainly made my day better.
As for Second City, it was bloody fantastic! I laughed so hard I was hoarse yesterday and still have a bit of a sore throat today. If you've never been to Second City, you need to go! It's hysterical, and awesome to be able to pick out the actors that are certain to end up on SNL in the future. There were at least 3. My favorite quote was from one of the women, talking to her 'husband' about his obsession with his Blackberry and his Twitter account (I think you all know my opinion of Twitter by now). "Any time I hear a grown man use the word 'Twitter', a little piece of me dies inside." Definitely a paraphrase as I was already onto my second vodka lemonade by then, but still. Totally true.
Anyway, it was a fucking fantastic time, and I CANNOT wait to go back again! If you ever have the opportunity to see one of their acts (They're in Chicago, Toronto, and have a touring company), DO NOT pass it up! You will laugh until you pee.
