Reading

I have been reading a lot lately. Mostly it has been stuff to fill up my long lunch-hour. A friend at work has been loaning me her Raymond E. Fiest books, the RiftWar Saga. It’s been a while since I sat down and read a longish series of fantasy. Good old medieval hack and slash.

The book I am into now is “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”. This is one of those books that I have wanted to read for a long time and I have just never found the time to sit down and read it. Or didn’t have the money/time to hunt down and buy a copy.

I am only a few chapters into it and I am already sorry I didn’t search this out years ago. This book was printed when I was 12. It would have made excellent reading when I was a teenager. Well, it isn’t really a missed opportunity as long as I do eventually get around to it.

Of course, by that line of thought, the list of “Worthwhile books that Ron has yet to read” is an enormous pile that is probably getting taller by the moment.

(PS, Dee is home from the hospital and things seem to be settling down.)
