Ray/Neela thoughts, Peter/Claire fic
So, um, ER...
I can't believe you made Ray get hit by a TRUCK. A TRUCK. All of this build up for Ray and Neela, three years of it, and when they finally confess their feelings, you make Ray get hit by a TRUCK? WHAT.
I understand that Shane West is doing some pilot for another show and he might not be coming back next season, but SHEESH. Surely there could have been other ways to write out his departure? *sigh*
You've turned Ray/Neela into this angsty little mess and haven't even resolved it. I thought it was coming to a closure in this ep, but noooooo. What happened to my couple, hmm? They used to be so sweet, living together, making fun of each other, helping each other grow... Now they're this tragic thing that I can't see turning around in the next few episodes, if at all.
If Shane West's pilot gets cancelled, I can only hope that you will still have a place for him on the show. Maybe then you can actually give him a real storyline and do something right by the only storyline you've given him (i.e. his relationship with Neela). And even if his pilot continues, I hope you let him come back, Doug-style, for Neela.

Just watchin' World Poker Tour. I remember turning to my dad and going, "See, dad? They're meant to be! He recorded her favorite TV show!"
I can still remember my dad's reaction to this scene. He walked into the room in the middle of the scene and said, "Oh, so they did it, huh?" Ha.
After this scene my step-mom called me and we both started crying on the phone. And she didn't even like Ray/Neela. At this point she liked Gallant/Neela, but Neela moving out of the apartment reduced her to tears.
First (and only) kiss. Stupid snow in the way. I barged into Jennifer's room and started rambling about it - no one in that room even watched the show, LOL.
So happy together. She's got her arm linked in his. Yay.
The touching from this week's episode after he gave her a mixed CD. So sweet. Then Ray had to go and get hit by a truck. :o
