This'll probably be my last post before I go to Ocean City. :)
I just wanted to post and let everyone know that I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest tonight and...wow.
NON SPOILER-ISH
It was a really awesome movie. I think it's just as good as the first film, though they are definitely different movies. By "different" I mean that this one is a lot darker and there are some scenes that are gross and a bit disturbing. And OMG the sexual innuendo and tension! HECK of a lot more of that - although that's a good thing. Little children should not see this movie.
That being said, it's hilarious (there was this one scene that had me giggling for I don't know how long) and a lot of fun. It does a drag a bit in some parts, just like it's predecessor, and it is two and a half hour, so just know that.
Everyone I was with said that they absolutely loved it. People online seem to be having mixed reviews. Seems a lot of people either love it or hate it. Just please don't expect it to be like the first film and you'll enjoy yourself.
And, erm, when I get back - I will have a spoiler filled review, complete with talk of the, um, "shipping" in the movie. :D :D :D
