BUSTED
Okay, so last night I asked my stepmom if I could get on the computer (cause I'm STILL grounded!) and she says no. So I snuck on at 2 in the morning. Well, my brother Charlie sleeps in the room right next to the computer and he must have heard me get on, and the internet dial up). He ran upstairs and then I heard footsteps coming downstairs. I hurriedly turned the computer off and ducked into the foyer in a crouching position. I heard my stepmom tucking Charlie in, and I'm sitting there thinking, "Oh God, please don't come in here. Please." And I'm trying not to move but I can't help it because it's really uncomfortable in that crouching position. And then, the floor creaks under me, and it keeps creaking! So, then my stepmom came out and found me. Being the stupid person I am I tried to freeze, even though I was in plain view, thinking that maybe if I was absolutely still, she wouldn't see me. She says, "Natalie?" and what do I do? I turned around and waved!
Let's just say I shan't be un-grounded anytime soon.
