fuckin damnit (evan haha)
yea, so the past two days sucked.
sunday we played on a float in the bennington battle day parade. it was fun except for the part when every fucking time the driver of the truck hit the brakes, he hit them too hard, and i almost when flying off the float backwards. that happened every 10 seconds for the first 20 minutes. but the other 25 minutes or so was fun, it was fun seeing the peoples reactions to seeing a punk/hardcore band playing on a float after a marching band. the old people were especially fun to watch.
then we found out that georgi, who was bringing me and my drums home, had lost her keys. suckage. so we waited around for hours while people looked for her keys to no avail. she got ahold of AAA, and i got my dad to come pick me up. my dad drove me and her back to her car to get some of my shit out of it, and when i get there, i see that the glove compartment is ripped open. shit. i look in it, and the wallet that contained the $250 to finish recording the rest of our cd is gone. someone stole our money that we had saved for so long while we played on a fucking float. soooo pissed.
and then at the show yesterday i basically had to tell everyone that the money was stolen from us. jeremy had already told them kinda, but wasnt sure about the details or something, so they already basically knew what happened. and all of them fucking blaimed it on me, except for jeremey. fuck them, cuz they wouldnt have done any fucking thing different. so that show kinda sucked cuz there was almost no one there. heather and erica and danielle went though, and i havent seen them in a long time. and i met pat, and hes mad cool. and on the way home i saw dan laine, who i havent seen since school ended. sept 1 hes goin into the army. crazy shit.
so good things i have to look forward to this week:
road test wednesday (tomorrow) i have to practice parallel parking again today.
hopefully going to warped tour on thursday with christianna and megan. tbs, soty, rise a-fucking-gainst, bouncing souls, and soo many other good bands. cool shit.
so fuck the first half of this week, second half- more power to ya.
and we're gonna try to have some shows to quickly raise a few hundred bucks, so ill post on here when i have more info on those. im pretty sure something will be set up at the armory, for all you btown kids.
