what a good past few weeks these have been, with only a few minor problems i wont get into.
tons of good shows, such as the rokkitt battle of the bands final, streetlight, bigd and this time tomorrow.
tons of partying, which has been a good time.
some good skating with my petersburg crew that has finally moved back to petersburg in its entirety. jared, ike, derek, you guys rule.
playing some shows, kinda fun.
playing midnight madness last night owned. during the day there was alotta online drama goin on cuz of people,a nd i was kind of a middle man of sorts, but at night,
everything went away, and i had an awesome time. we played for alot of people, the crowd was good, we sold merch, we got unexpectedly paid $50 which will help us make our new cd (which will hopefully be done around aug) and i saw alot of cool people, some of which i havent seen in a while. and of course i hung out with derek all night, which as he wrote in his journal, when we hang out together, its never a dull time. haha.
also ive almost died 4 times in the past week in cars. we hit a deer on the way home from new age, twice in drivers ed ive had cars run their red lights while i was driving and almost slam into the drivers side, and yesterday on the way to midnight madness georgi pulled out without looking (wtf?!?!) and almost got us run over by a giant backhoe. ay ya yai.
i also realized the other day while i was at work with derek that he and i are somewhat like a couple that has been dating for a long time. at night, when we're talking to each other online or whatever, or if we're hanging out at night, we'll be like, "if you wake up first, call me in the morning, and if i wake up first, ill call you." hah we rule. and we hang out almost every day, so we rule even more. im so happy hes back from fucking colorado.
i also hope i get my new hi hat cymbals i ordered today.
