Food Meme's

Why? 'Cause I found this thing by looking at Life Lists. Why life lists? well... um... they looked interesting. Besides, as I am being forcibly reminded that I'm aging, I've started looking at what I've done, where I've been and what the future may bring. However, I must admit that reading through them is cool, even if most of them are far outside what I think is possible for me. And when I hit the Omnivore's 100 Food/Drinks List and from there to the BBC's 50 Reader Recommended foods... I just could not resist.

The VGT Omnivore’s Hundred:
1. Venison
2. Nettle tea
3. Huevos rancheros
4. Steak tartare (I am leery about this just because of all the beef scares this decade)
5. Crocodile
6. Black pudding (Not gonna go there)
7. Cheese fondue
8. Carp Not my fav but better than some
9. Borscht
10. Baba ghanoush this is good! I just wish I could manage to make a decent batch of it. I love eggplant
