Back in high school I considered myself big. Didn't like it but accepted it. I mean I was a size 12/14 and weighed in at 135lbs. Why am I thinking about that now?

The kid wanted to dress up for the day tomorrow. So we dug out my old SCA clothes. These are things I made in college. I figured, not too fancy but serviceable since they've been in a cedar chest for years. Le Kid loved them. At least until time to put them on...

The silk gown and cote harde fit... kinda. They are meant to be loose, held up at the bust by the shoulders. Well, her bust is smaller than mine was then, otherwise, it fits a bit tight at hip and waist and drapes wrong at bust line.

The velvet lace up did not even begin to fit. That's from tail end of college and it is a size ten so I'm not surprised. That was when I'd been biking to and from school and work most nights.

The slate gray 10th century gown went on, pinning her shoulders around her ears. Was kind of amusing 'cause it looked like she was trying to put her head through her shoulder blades.

The pale mauve tunic fit all wrong and tight (she didn't understand why I say so). And we're not going into the winter dress that doesn't even go over her arms.

So, she's decided that she will be walking and biking and working out with me. Which is cool. Of course, this means she's going to sleep earlier 'cause walking doesn't just tire me out, it tires her out too.
