Thanksgiving weekend! and other things...
I went home for the Thanksgiving weekend. I wasn't sure I'd go because I have class 'til 1600 on Friday, but I ended up finding a lift leaving at 1730. I got home at 0015. I spent most of Saturday with Dernie and J, my boyfriend, arrived before dinner. We watched Cinderella (Yes, Cinderella. We're both little kids at heart), I hadn't seen it in ages! We went to the theater with Dernie to see Serenity.
I did like the movie, I think the world that was created is amazing and original and so is the storyline, and River is incredible. But it irked me a bit too much for me to be blown away by the movie. The Alliance assassin gives me the chills and the Reevers (sp??) make me want to throw up. I don't have much of a stomach for that sort of thing.
Like when we had to kill a frog for my histophysiology lab last Thursday. The TA says I turned green. Meh. The poor frog made me think of bribitribbit (she used to have a lovely frog-themed LJ) and I felt very ill when the guy chopped its head off. Bleurgh.
Midterms next week. Help.
