Sweetie and I are back from San Antonio. The funeral for my stepfather was nice. Both sad and uplifting,as Christian "homegoing" ceremonies should be, I suppose. Mom is doing... okay. That's really the best one can hope for at this stage. I passed along the good wishes and thoughts from everyone here on LJ. She was touched that so many people she hasn't met would send their good wishes. Thanks, all.

Now to go on with the new year. May it be damn sight better than the old one.
