meet Pharoah!
he's a pretty awesome lookin' crowntail betta - this pic isn't the BEST pic of him, but it honestly looked like he was posing for me - either that or he was trying to intimidate me out of his territory (seems less than likely since he's swimmin' around over on my side of the bowl)
and this is his usual hiding spot:
for a day, he had a snail friend we named Fred - but i don't think Pharoah liked Fred because Fred didn't make it - it's not UNHEARD OF for a betta to kill a snail, but i've had MANY bettas who never killed their snail friends - maybe Fred was sick when we got him though - i'll try one more snail in about a week here, see if maybe Pharoah's calmed down enough to allow a snail friend
