Greetings, Econtra.  I suppose it's time to make an overdue formal introduction.

I am Kunzite; some of you may know me best through Mercury.  As I'm certain you're aware, we're acquainted.  And, as I'm also certain your aware, certain... events have lead to a general displeasure amongst the male drafted in the compound.

Consider this an amicable fair ( Read more... )

You really didn't have to say that.

As for battle, only a few are any use at all. Some are working on a weapon that might be effective next time. Also, looking for Sailormercury might not do you much good. She's shy.

It was necessary. These fools are... Hmph. Forget it.

I can see as much plainly. It'll be interesting, none-the-less. Perhaps we can be rid of some of the... less savory of our fellow drafted at such a time, no?

As for the girl... we'll have to see what further develops from her crystal.

...?

Some of them can fight. Even Sailormoon, at least has a strong power when there's someone to take charge of her. But the majority are just normal humans.

Mm. It depends. Either this new stone really i is different, or the ginzuishou is the power behind its new form, too, given how it appeared.

Fodder. They're fodder. Bodies to take up space.

Keep an eye on her. If she uses the crystal, alert me immediately.

Kunzite, fodder may be right, but... I'm not sure it's for the sake of battle. I told you the Entropi are a lot like Metalia, and the 'Keepers' are also Entropi. Most likely, it's for energy fodder. Ironic, hm?

I'll do that. Considering none of them want to understand what that thing actually is, it will probably happen.

I've read your musings, and considering the nature of Metalia and the similarities here, it isn't a stretch.

The Princess has always been ignorant. It seems that hasn't changed, even spanning across worlds and universes beyond our own.

It bothers me like the idea of fighting Metalia. But after the last battle, it seems at least some of us are really here to fight. So I've told those people trying to develop that weapon to let me know what happens with it.

I've started to say people can change. I want to think that's true. But her, I don't see any difference. She's still self-centered and selfish and ignorant. The ones with him are still only thinking of the master or Chiba Mamoru as they know him. That's why I say she doesn't change.

Fighting Metalia... a difficult task, but not completely impossible. Our focus should shift towards this in the inevitability that the compound should come under attack again.

That said, the Princesses can hardly be forgotten. History will repeat itself unless otherwise prevented. She won't change. It's obvious.

How do we prepare for that?

In the end, Sailormoon killed the master herself, when he lost control after taking in Metalia. But, it was that act which made the princess awaken again to destroy everything. There's no separating Sailormoon from the Princess, not really. And that means even if she had good intentions, they're worthless, too.

Some sort of organization is necessary at the very least. No one outside of the Warden seems to hold any sort of authority. Planning and preparation is crucial for any war - it's common sense. This disheveled mass of fodder is worthless as it is now.

...

Hmph. Her intentions make little difference. The only thing I concern myself with is the end result.

People have talked about forming a government of sorts, but that can't work here. Aside from the obvious, there are the random disappearances. It would be disrupted constantly, and this is a war camp (supposedly) anyway, not some city hall. The best way to prepare for the battles is find out who's worth something in a fight, learn to recognize the signs, and side with those people who are here when it comes. And training, but that's obvious.

That's what I was saying anyway, about her.

A government? Hardly necessary.

What they want is something to do when things happen. If someone steals something, if someone gets hurt and they decide they don't like it. But the truth is, none of that's ignored anyway. You're right; that sort of government isn't necessary. Just organization.
