I'm too lazy to think of anything for the subject. :P
I *should* have been painting today. . . er, yesterday. "Should" usually means "didn't." My brush didn't even get wet. It's hard to sustain the mood to paint, especially if nothing will come of it. . . other than having another piece of paper with an image on it. I doubt I'll see any money from it, certainly. I have to actually stop myself from acting on any of the ideas I have for anime paintings, or buying new things like a button maker that's on sale. . . *sigh*
While I'm in a ranting mood. . . why in the hell do some people feel they must tell others how to feel about something?! I'm talking about a gallery post on DoA by a person I can't really stand. It's not who you'd think. . . although this person nearly matches their arrogance and condescension. *eyeroll* Otherwise, how could they post pictures of dolls they don't own, wearing clothes they didn't sew, and then go so far to say "this deserves to be in the highlights section." Really. If these photos, outfits, and dolls are so spectacular people will say so. Prompting them seems self-aggrandizing. The outfits and dolls are stunning, but since they actually belong to someone else I don't think it's appropriate for this person to post them, even with (unsubstantiated) permission. Someone had already mistaken the poster for the talent behind the work. Ugh.
I do have to laugh that a certain other person is constantly posting new gallery threads but not getting the kind of attention they used to. 9_9
