It is a beautiful early spring day here in the armpit of Texas (actually, no, Houston is the armpit of Texas, San Marcos is just the left nostril of Texas), and I am packing a suitcase with sweaters, wool socks, and gloves, because I'm going to New York! I leave tomorrow morning and come back Monday night. I'll be staying with my friend Lana, in her dorm at NYU, and I audition Saturday.
I'm off to finish digging up my meager supplies of cold weather clothing, and then go sit out on the back porch to knit or write or something in this beautiful weather. Gotta enjoy it while I can!
