Russian Speaking Women in Tech SV and AmBAR partnered together and are thrilled to invite you for our special International Women Day Celebration dinner and the fireside chat with Anna Dvornikova, President of AmBAR, Managing Partner, TEC Ventures and a simply amazing mutil-talented woman.
She organized hundreds of events and constantly interviews celebrities. This time, she will be our distinguished guest and will mesmerize you with her charm and charisma. She constantly interviews celebrities, VCs, executives. Now it is a time to interview Anna, since she has an amazing story.
This evening is the "Open Doors" event dedicated to the International Women Day. All, techie and non-techie women are invited.
About the speaker:
Anna Dvornikova is largely responsible for bringing Eastern-European startups and the venture capital community to Sand Hill Road. The Moscow native organized Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s historic visit to Silicon Valley. This ultimately put the spotlight on the area and boosted local relationships with Russian and Ukrainian businesses.
She is managing partner at TEC Ventures, an angel fund focused on investments in early-stage information technology, Internet and software startups. She also launched AmBAR, the largest Russian-speaking business network of high-tech entrepreneurs, investors, engineers, lawyers and other professionals headquartered in the Valley. The group boasts over 50,000 members worldwide.
For the past 10 years, she has led the SVOD conference, which serves as a major link between international entrepreneurs and local investors.
Anna was recently nominated for the 2014 Women of Influence Award by Silicon Valley Business Journal.
