The previews for the new Star Trek movie looked weak at best. It just didn't look like Star Trek. So I was pretty ambivelant when my Mom wanted to go see it for Mom's Day.
OH MY GOD IT ROCKS.
Amazing how they could take a plotline with more holes than a fishnet and make such an awesome movie. It is honestly one of the few movies I've ever wanted to pay to see a second time in theatres. Even with such a weak story.
Can't imagine they'll pull off a second one as good. Nearly all the awesome parts were seeing how characters met and first interacted.
This weekend was also my baby girls B-day. She's now 20!
