Mounted combat, shipboard combat, npc hiring, settlement founding, unmapped territory, 10,000 players per world, NPCs reacting with racial hostilities, coups of existing settlements and nations, no preset kingdom borders cause they fluctuate based on players settlement and conquest, dynamic spawning sites for monsters meaning the more often a certain species is wiped out the less common it respawns in that area so you can actually wipe out monster threats in settled areas
