Apparently it never occured to my house sitters to leave a faucet dripping when it froze. Luckily I had just drained my tanks so I doubt they're damaged, and the exterior line was easily thawed. Unfortunately there's some ice blockage in the interior piping. I think it's only in the copper pipes so there's a good chance they'll all survive the freeze intact. Still, I love this weather and hate to be wishing it would warm up again soon. I want these cold clear days to last. I love them. I also love having running water, and now there's no way for me to have that till it thaws. It looks like it'll be after X-mas before it gets warm enough to really thaw things out. So I may have to haul Frisk and all my stuff for studying up to B-ham and camp out up there. My only chance is if the waterline heater I ordered gets in tomorow morning and warms the water enough to melt the blockages. Not sure I'm really the most hopeful though.
I was feeling pretty good the last few days, now I feel worn out and exhausted again.
