PROOF!!!!
Today Jairod told me that he loved the play!!! He said it was "really intense." Which is true. But he did say that he loved it and really wanted to do it. I'm so excited for this play I can't express. And now that all the parts have been cast it feels more real and like we're actually doing it. I hate bugging Rem about it though. He seems really stressed right now with the Children's show and the Film Festival both coming up at the same time. So I figure I'll wait until that's all over to but him about it again. Besides, I have a lot to do as well. Our cast is going to be perfect though! I'm so pumped to work with everyone. It's going to be a good summer. I'm also slightly relieved to learn that I am not the only obsessed one. My dad frequently reads his script, and so does Saundra. Also, Saundra has been looking for costumes... something that I admit that I have done as well.
My basic costume overview:
Opening scene: sweats
Scene 2: jeans and a comfy shirt.
Scene 3: Black dress that I wore for my senior pics (see my myspace page)
Scene 4: Either a robe or PJ's...
Act 2 scene 1: Nice jeans and a nice shirt
Scene 2: same as Act 1 scene 4
Scene 3: no costume... I get to hang backstage
Scene 4: Jeans, sweater, scarf, gloves, coat (it's supposed to be very cold)
Scene 5: Similar to act 1 scene 2
Basically, there are a LOT of costume changes.
Hmm... Not that I'm obsessed with this play or anything. :|
The nice thing is that I really won't have to buy anything. I can pretty much go with what I already have. Yay for cheapness.
Well, I think I need to go do much of that stuff i need to do.
I need to not procrastinate.
