Albacon 2012, October 19-21

Oct 18, 2012 23:36

This weekend I will be a guest of the Albany NY science fiction convention Albacon, one of the best small SF conventions I've been to. Most of the events I am participating in are on Saturday, October 20th. Here's my schedule for that day:

2:00 p.m: Star Trek panel, comparing and contrasting the five series; I'm moderating it. Durand Room.

3:00: Colonizing Space panel; again, I'm moderating it. Should be lively! Cole/Church Room.

4:30: Ron Drummond Reading: I will be reading excerpts from my 7,800-word essay/short story, "The First Woman on Mars", which I recently sold to a very high-class, beautifully-printed art journal called WHITE FUNGUS, where it will be published in the spring of 2013.

6:00: Space Opera panel. Telecom Room.

If you're in the area on Saturday, stop by!
