Throughout the E.U one must have an identity card, the difference being that most of the E.U comprises functioning democracies. Does anyone trust the police in the U.K? Or place any confidence in P.C Plod? With the proposed expensive, intrusive and ultimately flawed introduction of ID cards it is Ali, Faisal and Mohammad that will be asked for ( Read more... )

I totally agree with Ron Broxted's comments on ID cards. Ever since the club of Rome was formed its goal was world domination via one world governance. The club of Rome has achieved what world war two could not, a homogeneous europe. Now we are all at the mercy of the faceless bureaucratic machine, controlled from Brussells, legislating on our livelihoods and our personal and private lives, over ruling national laws, controlling local economies, decimating national agriculture and fishing businesses, obliterating old currencies and replacing them with the new homogeneous 'euro'. Brussells legislates on just about every aspect of life and throughout this, with the betrayal of this country by our own elected politicians, we have succumbed to the big brother global dominance agenda. We are now THE most surveilled country in the world per cameras per head, our personal data is no longer safe, big brother Britain knows every move we make. Yes...I know, I sound like some rabid new world order conspiracy theorist, except that all these things are FACT not theory!!! It is my considered opinion that it's time the UK broke away from europe and its cosy little franco-german alliance. Let us trade with them...on our terms. What we don't need is to further erode our rights, civil liberties and livelihoods, not to mention the money we pay 'into' europe just to be part of some global dominance experiment. Unfortunately, my friends, there is a global agenda for complete control of the world economy, communications and freedom of liberty and movement and until we wake up to that fact we are doomed....in fact it may already be too late. Next time you vote...think of who you are voting in, whom they represent and what they stand for...your future and the future of this country could be at stake!

In many respects Brussels offers the poor far more than Westminster. But untrammelled power is dangerous. The E.U is a funny beastie, in Holland one has freedom in Britain the Orkney case shows just how powerless people are.
