BBC1 9pm, a three part thriller "Exile" dithered between the story of an old man with senile dementia and a Terrible Secret. Hero/Anti-hero Tom washes up in some kip he grew up in (cue northern monkeys and Yorkshireness) or was in Lancashire? Whippets looked the same. Tom then bonks his ex-mainsqueeze's sister who had a photo on the wall of husband and kids. Tom went to the Co-Op to buy some stuff and bumped into the cuckold who invited him for a drink. Cue busty barmaid from previous evening being Her Indoors. Of course we encounter Metzler, a bent businessman who is the centre of the Terrible Secret. I may watch Part Two if nothing better is on.
Now to world affairs and the head of Al'Quida has been "done proper" by the U.S. Already commentators (who said he was in Afghanistan) are talking about "minor" atrocities. Another excuse to give P.C Plod more legislation to fuck over the Umma?
