Channel 4, 9.pm. Britain is awash with people who share their DNA with Kate Middleton we are told. One could also say the Plantagenets according to history and genetics. The chav Goldsmiths appeared and then the chav with money Harrisons. Cousin Michael works for Somerfields in deepest darkest Wales. The importance of social mobility in England was underlined, (upwards and downwards). The Great War unified the U.K everyone got a chance to be killed. The Luptons in France and Goldsmiths too. Today saw the unveiling of an achievement of arms for Kate. (I wrote about this on another site). Try as I may I could not get a copy but here is a nice one from the Welsh borders.
