Under heavy manners, Brian Haw arrested and Dudus.
Freedom cannot be quantified nor qualified. The "Queens speech" sits ill at ease with the treatment of modern hero Brian Haw. I had the honour and pleasure of meeting Brian in July 2005 (see previous posts) and found him to be a decent man. I may not agree 100% with him but there was certainly no reason for the thick blue line of the Metropolitan police to use his face as a football earlier today.
Now to the jump up in Kingston. Dudus is no saint but where were the PNP in providing social welfare? The JLP have many faults but extraditing Dudus needs a lot of fore-though. Has this been fully considered? Spanish Town yards are a long way from the air conditioned residences on the other side of Kingston. As wiser voices have said "Me cyaan believe it."
