My first blog today concerns Jeremy Moulton. Will he be allowed into America? Yes hopefully as political "crimes" are not classed in the same light as well, criminal ones. What heinous act did Mr Moulton (19) commit? He erected a sign at his local Army Cadet Force centre condemning violence. One would have thought that such an action would merit merely some slightly fed-up N.C.O tearing the sign down. The local constabulary took a different view and mobilised a S.W.A.T team response with helicopter cover, dog units and armed police. Ladies and gentlemen, I put it to you that this is overkill. A teenage politics student home on vacation from university doing at worst something crass, at best laudable (according to one's views) is not a threat to national security. Mr Moulton received a caution (a permanent record). I would be grateful if some legal expert could clarify to an increasingly unfree Britain why and how Jeremy deserved such treatment.
