Year 2 - Spring - Bennett II
Last winter I moved out and started living in the apartments next to the police station. Well, I am glad to inform you that I am the lucky first resident in the new, brick built apartments! I could never have imagined such luxury, it is the sort of place you only see in the old books and magazines.
The kitchen is amazing! It has a cooker and a large fridge freezer! I'm not sure what the freezer is for yet but I am sure I will find a use for it.
We sailed to the nearest town and picked up a load of furniture from one of the big stores there, it was so much fun. I guess this is what they talk about in books when they "go shopping".
Lucas made the bed for me and I painted it to match the bright bedding I had picked up when we went to the town.
But the best part is that there are small shops right downstairs. I have turned one of them into a gym, I got the idea from a magazine I found. Mother said everyone would be so tired from all the work they have to do to want to spend time at a gym.
I am glad to say she is wrong, so far it has been very popular! I am so excited about starting out my new life here. I just wish there were some more people of my own age group.
